Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) said Friday it will report fourth-quarter results in three business segments instead of four. Divide your business into three main divisions. Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Wealth Management and Platform Solutions. Previously, he reported four units: Investment Banking, Global Markets, Asset Management and Consumer & Wealth Management. The Wall Street Journal previously reported on Goldman Sachs’ division restructuring in October. As first reported by The Wall Street Journal, the filing also revealed that since 2020, the platform solutions division has lost about $3 billion. This unit will include Marcus’ consumer banking business. The move comes after Goldman Sachs reportedly laid off 3,200 people this week. This change does not affect our historical financial disclosures. Goldman Sachs shares fell slightly in pre-market trading.
