Fayetteville, North Carolina — At 12:18 a.m. Sunday, officers from the Fayetteville Police Department were dispatched to Mikotos along Block 7900 of Rayford Road in connection with a disturbance in the parking lot.
The caller said several shots were fired at the car.
Police determined that there were two men who had been arguing with other people in Mikotos.
Officers said the two men appeared to be under the influence of a substance affecting their bodies as they exited the store into a white pickup truck in the parking lot.
The two men drove through the seating area outside Mykotos, where several customers were seated, and were hit by a vehicle.
The truck was fired upon and the men fled the scene.
Officers were able to find a car with one of the men inside. Officers found another man at a Circle K near the location of the incident. The two men were taken into custody without incident.
